Home School Program

Our long term goal, in keeping with our mission of, "Touching One Life at a time through the Arts," is to assist children of all ages, the older adult and challenged individuals.

Children who are schooled at home are allowed to participate in special classes and extracurricular activities at the public schools. This opportunity is not often taken because children are uncomfortable being in a setting with a group of strangers who are at home in "their" school. In other words, our home schooled children feel like outsiders.

What Waymire Studio has to offer is a safe, comfortable learning environment where we are all "family." Children learn while having fun in a setting free from ridicule, bullying, and overcrowding. Our Executive Director, Linda Waymire, PhD, is a pioneer in this area in the City of Phoenix and outlying areas.

Feel free to contact us and let us know how we at Waymire Studio can best serve our home schooled community in a way that is compatible with our goals and forum. We are outreach oriented, yet we are very careful about who we invite into our "family" for the safety of our students, staff, and the people living in the private residences on our campus. However, we do not discriminate against race, creed, color, religion, sexual orientation, physical or emotional handicap, or other medical conditions, where they do not interfere with the safety and rights of others.

We are currently adding a daytime schedule which caters to the needs/schedules of families who home school their children. Our goal is to provide a social and creative outlet for all children and their families.

Waymire Studio has instruction (Acting, Voice, Music, Guitar, and more…) for ages 3 through Adult. We also provide a venue for students to showcase their talents.
