Next Stein Tech begins November 1, 2010  -  Unlike our regular Stein Technique, this will be an INTENSIVE FAST TRACK session for 6 weeks.  We will cover everything that is covered in the 12 week class in 6 weeks.  It meets for 6.5 hours rather than 3 hours.  10 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. with a half hour break for lunch.

Having been trained by Ms. Elayne Stein, Linda will continue the ever popular ‘Acting for Commercials’ classes which are taught in twelve-week sessions and only three times a year.

Students will learn how to read commercial copy (and difference from TV/Film), slating, and the interview process. They will learn how to stand out in auditions; learn to feel comfortable in front of the camera, agents and producers. Students will learn to think and do quickly in an improv situation. In order to maximize the student-teacher interaction and to keep the learning experience spirited and lively, this class size is strictly limited and will not exceed seven students.  Session timings have also been devised to help employed professionals.

As part of this course, a final DVD of student’s’ work will be submitted to local agents for possible representation.

Class Sessions   
Each class gathers once a week for an intense session consisting of 6.5 hours per Saturday. (Half hour break for lunch)  Typically, this class is stretched out over a 12 week period.  This is for the student who doesn’t have 12 weeks but can manage 6 weeks intensively working on commercials, audition technique, a monologue, etc.  DVD’s will be submitted to agents at the end of the 6 weeks for possible representation.

 

Tuition and Session Policy

Linda will be accepting tuition in the same manner as had been established by Elayne Stein.  It’s straight forward and easy to understand tuition policy.  All students’ sign up for this six-week program and tuition may be paid weekly, at the rate of $90.00 per week.  A $90.00 deposit is required to hold your slot.  This deposit will be applied to the last week of the 6-week intensive and is non-refundable.  Course fees may be paid by cash, check or money-order. Linda continues to conduct professional acting classes and workshops in Glendale, Mesa and Phoenix, Arizona as well as in California.

 

She has an impressive following of professional actors and entertainers. Linda offers voice and diction classes to help with speech articulation, inflection, etc., auditioning techniques, on-camera techniques, and understanding the world of show business, tailored to specific acting requirements. Linda also teaches Scene Study, GUT REACTING ™, and Monologue Classes, among others. All classes are guaranteed to be an exciting and unforgettable learning experience.
